New regional perspectives; design of attractive energy markets for Latin America and the Caribbean, was the name of the forum in which the Director of Integration, Access and Energy Security of OLACDE participated. He discussed the importance of institutionality and the need to generate market conditions, which promote the incorporation of renewable energies under cost efficient conditions for the systems.
In a second participation, the Director of Integration, Access and Energy Security of OLACDE, Medardo Cadena, was present at the FEL’s Talent Bridge Session, where he spoke about the energy integration of the region. This session consisted of sharing experiences and visions with 100 young people, worldwide, who are part of the FEL (Future Energy Leaders) and who aspire to be future energy leaders.
The 24th World Energy Congress sought to create opportunities for global dialogue and the creation of consensus and joint work to offer practical solutions to achieve sustainable, safe and inclusive energy systems that provide prosperity for all.
